Diane Holuigue’s establishment opened in 1969, marking a new era for the teaching and promotion of culinary arts in Australia. The first private cooking school in the country to approach teaching in a professional manner, the school’s ongoing commitment to excellence has now fostered the talents of some 54,000 home and professional cooks, trained some of Australia’s foremost chefs, and generally helped create a more sophisticated and discerning restaurant public.
